Performs professional electrical engineering design technical work which is specific in nature and requires knowledge and application of basic engineering principles, theories and concepts to complete assignments under direct technical supervision. Requires good communication skills.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES may include any one or combination of the following:
- FPGA Design or verification using VHDL language and scripting
- Digital Board Design using Cadence Allegro PCB Designer
- Lab testing requiring analysis and evaluation, selection and application of basic engineering principles, theories and techniques.
- using lab equipment such as Logic Analyzers, Chipscope, oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers.
- Mixed signal Analog/Digital board design
- Analog power design/analysis
- RF design or testing
