This position is for a software developer / data analyst to develop and support interactive/dynamic dashboards on the Tableau platform for BAE Systems, supporting multiple product lines within the production environment. The goal of the dashboards is to deliver pertinent data to all levels of management to help teams make smarter decisions and deliver better products. The candidate will be required to work closely with multiple stakeholders and leaders to analyze and validate data visualization and business intelligence requirements. The candidate must have experience developing dashboard interfaces within a SQL environment, and is strongly preferred to have Tableau specific experience.

  • Serve in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment, designing and implementing new features and enhancements based on user stories and design team feedback

  • Able to reuse template/components/web services across multiple dashboards

  • Develop connected dashboards using web services and SQL databases

  • Responsible for maintaining consistency across multiple dashboards

  • Responsible for optimizing user experience

  • Responsible for applying GUI standards and best practices to the dashboards

  • Responsible for providing user and technical support documents

  • Must be a team player, be comfortable in a multi-task and task switching environment, and have experience in presenting work output to all levels of management

  • Must be able to understand customer requirements, and translate into an executable end deliverable

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
