The Systems Engineering Manager (SEM) establishes and controls the system technical baseline. The SEM performs comprehensive planning & execution of all Systems Engineering activities. Establishes/Maintains/Updates Systems Engineering's budgets, schedules, and staffing plans. Establishes/Maintains/Updates Systems Engineering's development and lab environments and engineering related capital assets. The SEM also defines/manages Systems Engineering's Risks & Opportunities. Ensures proper preparation, execution and completion of System Reviews (e.g. SSR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.) The SEM is responsible for integrating the system and for verifying that it meets contractual requirements, as well as performing continuous validation. Execute Systems Engineering Staffing Plans - Including Staffing Ramp-Up and De-Staffing. Ensuring Systems Engineering work products, specifications, analyses, models, trade studies, technical plans and procedures, briefings, etc. are comprehensive and complete. The SEM also defines, collects, analyzes, review's Systems Engineering metrics.
