KBW has partnered with a global manufacturer in their search for a Controller to be responsible for worldwide and cost accounting activities.
Managing the accounting team this position will devise and implement accounting controls to meet and exceed accuracy and efficiency goals while supporting key business decisions.
Responsibilities:
Supervise GL, cost, consolidations and reporting
Manage period close - month, quarter and year end
Interact with auditors and ensure proper controls are in place
Monthly review of financial results
Ensure adherence to revenue recognition regulations
Provide timely reporting for domestic and international standards
Research and update accounting standards
Run special projects
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA required
More than 10 years experience with US GAAP reporting
Prior exposure to multi national entities
An understand of IFRS and its implications
