Sr. Reliability/Maintainability/Safety Engineer

Perform as a Reliability, Maintainability, Safety engineer on projects related to Electronic Warfare systems.
1. Performs professional technical analysis requiring the full use and wide application of Engineering principles, theories, concepts and precedents in one or more of the Reliability, Maintainability, and Safety (RMS) disciplines.
2. Provides technical assistance to other Engineering and Manufacturing functions by analyzing specifications and designs and advising on their ability to meet RMS requirements. Provides guidance to designers in the selection and application of component parts with regard to product reliability, maintainability, and safety impact.
3. Participates in preparing assignments in terms of engineering tasks, objectives or plans including required resources.
4. Performs or directs other personnel in performing detailed Safety analyses to support compliance with company Product/Service/System Safety policies.
5. Coordinates and directs the work efforts of lower level engineers and support personnel, if assigned. Responsible for tracking labor and/or material expenditures for use in program control
6. Provides reliability growth planning guidance to programs as required during life cycle phases.
7. Prepares proposals in accordance with company practices, using Functional Bid Metrics or other approved data sources, including time phased resources, and capture of Risks and Opportunities for management and/or mitigation.
8. Maintains knowledge in areas of specialization and is cognizant of developments in other related fields.
9. If assigned by the Section Manager, acts as PSE Lead for one or more Product Areas (PA).

BS in Engineering or Scientific
Field
Preferred Skills and Education
Electronic Warfare systems background.
Experience working Department of Defense development programs.
Leadership experence.
Logisitcs engineering experience preferred.
