Digital System/FPGA Architect Engineer

Primary roll will be as a digital system and FPGA Architect.
Take system level requirements and develop a Digital system and FPGA architecture, divide algorithms into modules within an FPGA, implement FPGA coding of functions, and create robust test benches for such. Will be working in field of graphics pipelines, guidance, control loops, object identification and filters, I/O interfaces, embedded processors, Real time processor support, industry standard busses.
May use C to program embedded processors on occasion. May also find working knowledge of C and Ada useful in interaction with the SW team.
Be able to implement FPGAs using Altera or Xilinx chip families and tools. Lattice and uSemi also occasionally used.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
Required Skills and Education
BSEE, BSECE
Having 10 years in digital
systems architecture, FPGA design and C programing of processors.
Tools: Verilog, VHDL, MicroSim,
MATLAB, Unix, based FPGA development.
Preferred Skills and Education
