The WAN Optimization Group
The wide area network (WAN) is the foundation of a globally connected enterprise, enabling collaboration, communication, business productivity, and risk mitigation. When you join the WAN Optimization Group, you'll have a hand in creating the products and solutions that are critical to everything organizations do over networks. You'll work with top engineers to break the barriers that constrain businesses, and enable them to run faster and more efficiently. The group's industry-leading products are built on our patented technology that accelerates applications through data, transport, and application streamlining. RiOS is the foundation of award-winning products, including SteelHeadTM CX, SteelHeadTM EX, SteelHeadTM SaaS, SteelCentralTM Controller for SteelHeadTM, and SteelHeadTM Interceptor.
The Storage Delivery Group
The objective of this unit is to enable customers to do what they really want - which is to increasingly consolidate and virtualize their worldwide storage in their own private data center/cloud or public data center/cloud. This is achieved by doing what was previously thought impossible: allow storage to be decoupled from its server over thousands of miles of distance and actually work as if the storage were local to the server, thereby realizing branch converged infrastructure. End users in edge locations get uncompromised performance, while IT management is able to manage, backup, provision, patch, expand, and protect branch data on enterprise storage within the four walls of the data center. By doing this, they reduce data center and branch management costs while delivering security and control over their data. When you join the Storage Delivery Group, you'll have a hand in creating the products and solutions that are critical to the Global 1000 companies. You'll work with top engineers to evolve our SteelFusionTM and SteelStoreTMproduct lines.
The Application Delivery Group
Online applications must deliver excellent service consistently despite today's increasing traffic loads, rapid change, and complex deployment infrastructures. Customer satisfaction, employee productivity, business agility, and the bottom line all hinge on these business-critical applications working as expected. This makes the work of the Application Delivery group critical to the success of global enterprises and service providers everywhere. You'll work with top engineers to break the application barriers that constrain businesses, and enable them to run faster, more collaboratively and more securely. Unlike most other application delivery products, the Application Delivery Group's proven and reliable products are 100% virtual and software based, so they're better suited to any development and operations needs, including private, public, and hybrid clouds. Working on products such as SteelAppTM Traffic Manager, SteelAppTMWeb Accelerator, SteelAppTM Web App Firewall , and SteelCentralTM Services Controller for SteelAppTM you'll help deliver a better experience for IT teams as well as their end users.
The Riverbed Performance Management Group
The Riverbed Performance Management Group is built on our strong heritage and experience in delivering solutions that improve the performance of technology for businesses. This group is made up of network performance management (NPM) and application performance management (APM) products and solutions that diagnose both application and infrastructure issues. Whether the problem is server, application, or network-based; in a virtual, physical or cloud infrastructure; or, using mobile or fixed clients, products from the Riverbed Performance Management group help application and infrastructure teams identify the problem and deliver actionable insight for solving the issue rapidly. When you join this group, you'll have a hand in creating the products and solutions that are critical to global companies.
