Responsibilities:
Our Nashua group is growing and has an immediate opening for a Technical Writer/eLearning Specialist. The candidates responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following;
Develop accurate, thorough and concise online Help for technically complex software applications.
Produce a variety of technical documents, including software user's manuals, release notes, and installation instructions.
Work as part of an eLearning development team to produce cutting-edge, interactive computer-based instruction.
Work closely with software engineers, subject matter experts, and other team members to gather and prepare technical information.
Ensure documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and conforms to industry standards and department style guidelines.

Education, Training and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Computer Science, or related field and 3 years specific work experience.
Required Skills:
Experience in developing online help
Experience in developing courseware or instructional material
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the proven ability to convey information and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to produce quality documentation while adhering to schedule and budget constraints.
Ability to adapt writing style to meet defined guidelines and standards.
Willingness to accept feedback and direction from others.
Ability to quickly learn new software applications on the Microsoft Windows platform.
Ability to multi-task between numerous projects.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Adobe RoboHelp or other help authoring tool
Experience with Adobe Captivate or other eLearning development tools.
Familiarity with courseware development and instructional design concepts.
Experience with Graphical User Interface designs and/or Human Factors would be a definite plus
REQUIRED . Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Physical Requirements:
Work is primarily sedentary. Some walking and standing may occur in the course of a normal workday in connection with travel to and from meetings and conferences. May carry light items, such as reports, data products, notebooks and laptops.
Work Environment:
Work involves an inside office environment/cubicle. (Considerations: closed quarters, close together, limited lighting). Independent transportation necessary to support work requirements and to arrive at work site. No hazards on job site or any unusual environmental condition exists.
Equipment and Machines:
Personal computer (75%), scanner (5%), copy machine (5%), telephone (5%), laser printer (5%), fax
machine (2%), and other office equipment including desk supplies.
Attendance:
With the exception of STD/LTD/FMLA & approved time off, attendance is considered essential. Must be able to work within the shift hours of 6am and 6pm.
Other
Essential Functions:
1) Must be able to secure a security clearance
2) Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
3) Must be able to work under supervision and respond appropriately and professionally to criticism from a supervisor.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
