Job Description:
I. BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: Plan, prepare, issue and control MRP production schedules and material requirements to assure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements; Maintain MRP requirements, integrity, and accuracy. Train and mentor the lower level Supply Chain Planning team members assigned to product lines to ensure the execution of the Master Delivery Schedule. Assures shipments are accomplished to maintain contract/internal delivery commitments.
II. PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities: (Duties and responsibilities which occupy a major portion of time and importance in the job. Incumbent(s) perform one or more of the following duties.)
1. Coordinate the material movement process from receiving, through incoming inspection, master stores and into shipping. Work with Supply Chain to establish/maintain point of use (POU) and manage kit flow to production floor. Establish forecast from factory to shipping.
2. Configure work order in preparation for manufacturing's release. Assure kits are short free and lower level makes are prepared to meet demand requirements for manufacturing's pull.
3. Work with commodity team to balance the material flow from suppliers to manufacturing based on MRP demand. Communicate material factory constraints to commodity team and Master Production Scheduler. Receive material supplier constraints from commodity team (action accordingly).
4. Lead activities and resources between manufacturing and the Supplier Partnerships organization to mitigate supply chain issues, monitor work in progress, and potential production setbacks to ensure delivery requirements are satisfied.
5. Lead the engineering change order process (ECO's), DER activity, and Special Engineering kits to insure correct configuration of material.
6. Provide input to business area planning and manufacturing in the generation of resource and manpower forecasts.
7. Provides risk management and mitigation on all identified delivery risks for manufacturing line (flow up to Operations Program Manager to program risk register).
8. Coordinate the material flow through material review board and any intermediate processing as may be required.
9. Participate at material review board meetings. Demonstrate competency in Material Management Accounting System (MMAS).
10. Involvement in continuous improvement teams as required.
11. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
Required Skills and Education
Required Experience & Required Skills:
Demonstrate knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools, configuration systems (PDM), inventory, shop floor workbench (SFW) and production planning techniques. Typical Related
Experience: 4

Analyze, evaluate, develop and implement processes and systems within budget and adhere to time requirements and schedule; 7. Design and develop products and services using state-of-the-art technology, principles, theories and concepts.)
