The Position:
Intersys Consulting is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics AX Manufacturing Functional Consultant to work with our client in Nashua, New Hampshire. Microsoft Dynamics AX Manufacturing functional consultants participate in every aspect of the implementation from analyzing the customer's manufacturing requirements to configuring the Microsoft Dynamics application to meet the customer's needs. Primary responsibilities include customer relations, functional requirements definition, solution configuration and design, end user training and deployment and delivery of project tasks on time and on budget

Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure a comprehensive set of requirements, aligned to business objectives, gaining full understanding of current and future state business processes. Provide in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics application and evaluates the customer's production processes against the standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality. Demonstrate experience in use of the prescribed Microsoft Dynamics implementation methodology, Sure Step; understands the key activities and deliverables for the client engagement and internal projects. Responsible for documenting the business requirements which express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected. Responsible for configuring and customizing the Microsoft Dynamics AX application to achieve the customer's business requirements. Facilitate the customer's decision-making process and develops the functional design document that will drive the development process (if modifications/customizations are required, either to processes or to the Microsoft Dynamics application.) Responsible for conducting acceptance testing and training customer resources to successfully use and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics application. Maintain targeted billable utilization of 70%
Qualifications: 6-9 years consulting experience in business applications with focus on business modeling and software implementation. Expert level understanding of AX Manufacturing capabilities including Discrete, Process and Lean Manufacturing Expert Level understanding of AX Trade and Logistics Good understanding of Manufacturing Laws and Localization requirement for any of the countries, USA, India, UK, Mexico, Malaysia, China Core application functionality Implementation Methodology Application technology stack Related Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft .NET, Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server, Microsoft BizTalk Server. Manufacturing Industry Knowledge Successful completion of applicable product certification exams. Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 certified required Familiarity and/or experience with Dynamics AX Workflow Strong business writing and verbal communication skills High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment to quality
Nice to Have: Familiar with and experienced in: Core application functionality Implementation Methodology Application technology stack Related Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft .NET, Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server, Microsoft BizTalk Server.
