The Position:
Intersys Consulting is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Technical Consultant to work with our client in Nashua, New Hampshire. Technical consultants participate in every aspect of the Dynamics implementation from reference architecture reviews to configuring the Microsoft Dynamics application and hardware to meet the customer's needs. Primary responsibilities include monitoring and managing Dynamics AX environments both internal and external customers, solution configuration and design, and delivery of project tasks on time and on budget.
Primary
Responsibilities: Coordinate with the client IT team to setup new consultants and third parties with appropriate environment access Install Dynamics AX 2012 including SharePoint, SqlServer, Enterprise Portal, and Active Directory Monitor and manage Dynamics AX environments Install and configure AX 2012 R2 and related components like SQL, SSRS, SSAS, Visual Studio and Enterprise Portal Manage users in Dev/Test/Prod environments. Coordinate with the client, third party and internal project teams any anticipated maintenance window. Coordinate any hotfixes/service packs/feature packs/cumulative updates and ISV solution application Coordinate and/or perform any environment restores Coordinate/enforce version control on all code in the development environment. Coordinate code deployment to TEST and PROD environments Monitor environment performance and suggest refinements on application configuration or hardware as needed Assist with the definition and set-up of security roles Coordinate and execute any required AOS reboot in any environment Active participation in discussions with the client and project teams. Assist in defect closing, defect tracking and defect root cause analysis. Maintaining targeted billable utilization of 70%
Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience. 3 to 5 years technical consulting experience in Dynamics AX with focus on installation, configuration, source code deployment and all ancillary software needed for a successful Dynamics AX implementation. Core application functionality Implementation Methodology Application technology stack Related Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft .NET, Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server, Microsoft BizTalk Server and Active Directory. Willingness to become certified (MCP, MCSE) in all Technical areas of Microsoft Dynamics. Strong business writing and verbal communication skills High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment to qualityNice to Have: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 certifications: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Installation and Configuration Microsoft SQL Server 2008 - Implementation and Maintenance Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Databases Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Application Development Familiarity and/or experience with Dynamics AX Workflow Familiarity and/or experience with Dynamics AX BI (Role Centers, KPI's, Cubes) Strong business writing and verbal communication skills High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment to qualityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
