Responsibilities:
Our Nashua, New Hampshire location is growing and needs an innovative and solutions-oriented Quality Engineer who is interested in enhancing their careers.
The position is a process oriented Quality position that will evaluate or establish processes, set up measurements to evaluate processes, and will identify weaknesses in those processes so that errors don''t happen again. This is not a Test position , though testing may be part of the process for analyzing the tools, metrics, and processes being measured.
Candidate's duties & responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:
Responsible for activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation and champions improvement activities.
Creates/maintains/implements the program/project Quality Plan and other Quality related process documents.
Confirms all processes and products have been properly developed under the department and corporate guidelines and standards via Peer Reviews, Internal Audits and general observation and interaction.
Monitors all projects and programs for compliance with quality standards within the Jacobs/TEIMS and MPDG Quality Plans.
Performs an annual CM Audit of work products within the configuration management tool and conformance to CMP.
Identifies Noncompliance Issues and tracks Corrective Actions to completion and resolution.
Collects and analyzes quality measures and recommends process and quality improvements.
Provides periodic Quality Status reports to Project, MPDG, and Jacobs/TEIMS Management.
Performs periodic review of the program/project Quality Plan and associated documentation.

Experience:
Requires a minimum of an Associate''s degree with one, (1) year specific work experience and three (3) years general work experience.
Professional accreditation helpful but not mandatory. (Certification for SCAMPI Lead Appraiser, Personal Software Process (PSP) Trainer, Certified Software Development Professional, American Society for Quality, Project Management Body of Knowledge, etc.).
Key skills and knowledge:
Knowledge of, and skill in applying, most of the following: process improvement principles, methods, and practices in the assigned specialty area; performance monitoring principles and methods; quality assurance principles; technical documentation methods and procedures; systems security methods and procedures; analytical methods; and oral and written communication techniques sufficient to accomplish assignments such as: perform routine and recurring assignments in the specialty area; identify and resolve issues and problems; prepare and update manuals, instructions, and operating procedures; provide information and assistance to customers; evaluate established methods and procedures and prepare recommendations for changes in methods and practices where appropriate; and ensure the application of appropriate security measures to the assignment.
Knowledge of, and skill in creating reports and manipulating data in response to customer requirements.
Working knowledge of requirements identification, systems design, system testing for a system of systems, process improvement models such as Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) v1.2, ISSO 9000 and other standard models, technical systems to include real-time, information management system, post mission and web-based, as well as program and process analysis elements.
Must be able to define, implement and maintain highly mature and disciplined processes, design and implement data collection processes, such as surveys and interviews, develop methods to store and analyze data using computer tools (such as Microsoft Excel and Access or ASP, VB Scripts), conduct cost/benefit tradeoff analyses, and to design a quality information management system based on data collection and cost/benefit tradeoff analysis meeting customer requirements that is within financial and equipment constraints.
Ability to propose and identify changes to the current process in order to streamline and improve process completion times and product quality.
Fully understand the flow of information in and out of the organization whose process is being analyzed, and will be required to work closely with database designer/developers and/or systems administrators when it is determined that the process can be best improved, and process completion times be lowered, by creating an automated solution.
U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Physical Requirements:
Work is primarily sedentary. Some walking and standing may occur in the course of a normal workday in connection with travel to and from meetings and conferences. May carry light items, such as reports, data products, notebooks and laptops.
Work Environment:
Work involves an inside office environment/cubicle. (Considerations: closed quarters, close together, limited lighting). Independent transportation necessary to support work requirements and to arrive at work site. No hazards on job site or any unusual environmental condition exists.
Equipment and Machines:
Personal computer (75%), scanner (5%), copy machine (5%), telephone (5%), laser printer (5%), faxmachine (2%), and other office equipment including desk supplies.
Attendance:
With the exception of STD/LTD/FMLA & approved time off, attendance is considered essential. Must be able to work within the shift hours of 6am and 6pm.

1) Work may require occasional to frequent travel.
2) Must be able to secure a security clearance
3) Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
4) Must be able to work under supervision and respond appropriately and professionally to criticism from a supervisor.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
