Contribute to the Operations Business Process Improvement functions by assisting with planning and implementing strategic and tactical system and process improvement initiatives; participating on cross-functional teams that design, develop, and deploy processes that further the key business objectives of the organization. Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience,Employees in California must have a Bachelor's degree in the applicable field, or an applicable certification, equivalent certificate or any required license. Equivalent experience will not be considered.
Required Skills: 1.Applies process improvement and engineering methodologies and principles across the Organization to establish, deploy, and maintain processes that are in alignment with Enterprise-level strategies. 2.Develop functional metrics to measure performance. Leverage metrics to set strategy and take actions required to improve performance. This could include the analysis of process performance data by utilizing industry-standard quantitative management principles (e.g., Statistical Process Control techniques) and reports status against Organizational and Project goals and objectives. 3.Leads working groups focused on leveraging best practices across sites and standardizing business processes. This includes institutionalizing the processes at the Organization and Project level, participating in causal analysis activities, performing complex statistical analyses, and applying knowledge of process improvement and problem-solving models. 4.Supports the development of process improvement action plans and coordinates the transfer of new processes and practices to the project teams by providing group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer, as necessary. 5.Define reports and systems required for functional employees to execute to streamlined business processes, lead projects to define and drive system changes aligned with Operations and functional strategies 6.Works directly with functional management to identify, plan, and implement improvement initiatives. Develops and manages requirements for organizational process improvement systems, process architectures, automated tooling, and quantitative measurement mechanisms. 7.Assure that all command media reflects current processes and is an effective asset to employees
