Summary:
Under general direction, supervises and coordinates activities of the Payroll Department; assures quality processing of bi-weekly payroll for employees in compliance with hospital policies and federal, state and local taxing authorities; preparation of information used for processing quarterly reports and annual W-2 s.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree
2 years of supervisory experience in Payroll - Healthcare Experience preferred.
Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations concerning retirement, taxable income, social security, tax levies, garnishments, etc.
Ability to operate and understand computerized payroll and tax system (currently using Lawson application).
Ability to work with computers and perform data entry
Ability to use an adding machine
Experience implementing time and attendance systems preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
