Come build your career with usWe are seeking candidates with an interest in working in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing producing military-grade electronics utilizing cutting-edge technologyThe ideal candidate should have an interest in working within a quality organization as an inspector and willing to join the fifth cohort of the BAE Systems Electronic Systems Sector New Hampshire Quality Inspection Apprenticeship ProgramWe are hiring our next cohort within the Quality Inspection Registered Apprenticeship ProgramThe program was developed in partnership with the Community College System of New Hampshire to provide education, employment, and a career path within Quality InspectionThis is a 2-year program that consists of 4,000 hours of on the job training and 288 hours of paid related instructionUpon selection into the Apprenticeship Program, all apprentices are required to successfully complete a 5-week paid training program scheduled during first shift at the BAE Systems facility at 25 Manchester Street, Merrimack, NH, with a specialized curriculum developed specifically for the programThe training schedule for the 5 weeks will be 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, starting at 8 a.mand concluding at 5 p.m., each dayFollowing successful completion of the 5-week training program, all of which is completed during first shift hours, apprentices will begin applying their new skills on the job on their assigned shift within a BAE Systems production factory located in southern New HampshireNote, for those selected for a shift other than first shift, shift differential pay does not apply to first shift hours during the five week training program, and only applies for work on a shift other than first shiftThroughout the duration of the 2-year program, apprentices will receive aone-on-one mentorship from an experienced Quality Inspector and continue their technical skills development through internal trainingAs defined milestones are achieved, apprentices will receive incremental salary increases on a scheduled basis over the course of the 2-year programThe starting hourly rate for this position is $21.75Required Education, Experience, & Skillso High School diploma or equivalency Ability to obtain a security clearance Ability to sit at an inspection workbench and utilize a microscope for the majority of the work day Computer competency and English literacy is required to ensure the candidate will be capable of following instructions and safety guidelines Ability to focus on tasking while paying attention to detail Ability to work in a structured, diverse and inclusive environment Preferred Education, Experience, & Skillso Basic math skills Experience working in an environment where effective verbal and written communication skills were demonstrated Possesses some technical ability Possesses an inquisitive and curious mindset Experience in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with electronics devices and their manufacturing processes Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range:
$45320 - $72490 Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structuresHowever, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
