General Maintenance Worker/Handyman

We are looking for a maintenance technician that can carry out work with limited or no supervision at each of our locations.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Ensuring work is completed quickly, efficiently and professionally.
Performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance repairs.
Light electrical (repairing or replacing fixtures, switches and outlets).
Light plumbing (replacing valves, faucets and drains, clearing clogged drains).
Small Painting (touch ups, doors, trims) Minor appliance repairs (stoves, refrigerators, etc.
) Following monthly preventive maintenance schedule such as cleaning filters, checking lights, etc.
Basic HVAC work as needed.
Incorporate safety protocols while performing all job duties.
Keeps work area clean and behaves professionally with restaurant employees and customers while performing all duties on site.
Identify and report the need for major repairs.
Doors and hardware maintenance.
Repairing walls (wear and tear) Bathroom maintenance (stall repair/maintenance) Support operations.
Other task as assigned.
Skills:
Basic math skills.
Good communication ability Well organized and apt at problem solving.
Attention to detail.
General maintenance and repair knowledge.
Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment.
Position Requirements:
You will be required to work with restaurant managers helping them create an effective maintenance routine that ensures operations, reduce repair costs and provide a consistent, reliable partnership with store operators.
Must have valid drivers license to operate company vehicle to various locations located in MA and NH.
Willingness to do emergency service calls or perform work at night or weekends (infrequent) when required.
Ability to work independently in a fast, pace environment.
Team player and the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
A normal day would consist of you providing preventative maintenance in accordance with industry regulations, handling maintenance requests based on level of priority, inspecting equipment to reduce and eliminate faults across our 9 locations.
