The Parts Advisor is principally responsible for assisting technicians at the parts counter as well as serving both retail and wholesale customers.
Experience is preferred but not required.
Most importantly, we take pride in fostering a very friendly and team-based environment.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Assisting technicians at the parts counter.
Ordering, receiving and shipping parts.
Managing inventory, including performing inventory counts.
Working with the manufacturer to return used parts.
Performing the appropriate record keeping in our DMS system.
Maintaining customer special order shelves.
Assisting both retail and wholesale customers by phone and in-person.
Job Requirements:
Experience is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of automobiles is a plus! Ability to interpret vendor catalogs.
Ability to use parts department computer system.
Experience with CDK a plus.
Ability to operate machinery (example:
forklift) is a plus.
Team oriented - our environment encourages teamwork.
A can-do and positive attitude! Willingness to learn.
Must be motivated to grow and develop within the dealership.
Valid driver's license.
