seeks Product Managers, Vacuum Filters in Nashua, NH Set-up and maintain a systemized method for the execution of engineering proposals and reference database.
Maintain an inquiry tracking database and a log of active and completed proposals, monitor quotes, hit rate and keeps up to date hot prospect listing.
Review contract language to assure compliance with company guidelines and refer to our legal department as needed.
Check proposal work done by stakeholders for accuracy and completeness prior to release.
Verify and update cost basis for quotations and recommends design modifications or alternative sourcing to reduce cost.
Assist the sales department in the gathering of field data and/or the presentation of the product to customers.
Establish offer price consistent with market conditions and business plan requirements.
Contribute to the design and implementation of promotion and training programs, i.
e.
.
Advertising, direct mail, sales force training etc.
Input for product development as per the market needs and wants.
Assist the Senior Product Manager with forecasting including warranty, hot prospects listing, potential bookings and margins.
Participate in Strategic Planning and the on-going auditing of this process.
Recommend product or process improvements.
Monitor programs and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist in the resolutions of customer complaints and disputes by implementing corrective and preventive action as needed.
Assist and recommend processes and improvements with respect to archiving our historical data for any current and future research needs.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field plus any amount of experience with the following:
inquiry tracking databases; gathering of field data; design and implementation of promotion and training programs; pulp mill operation as it relates to washer product line; product standardization and the setup and maintenance of workflow operating.
Travel up to 80% of the time, periodically internationally.
Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.
S.
