KBW has partnered with a large manufacturer int their search for a Controller to develop and lead the accounting team.
This role is accountable for accounting operations, financial reporting, controls, budget and forecast
Responsibilities:
To devise and implement appropriate internal controls.
Oversee accounting operations and organizational structure.
Ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place and functioning properly and to propose other controls as may be required.
Review transactions and reporting to ensure compliance.
Prepare for and review audit findings.
Interact with operational management to provide business direction through financial analysis.
Take ownership of the reporting process.
Accurate and timely completion of company Financials, including the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss statement and Cash Flow.
Assure that appropriate controls are in place for working capital so that established cash flow and working capital targets are achieved.
Monthly inventory control and analysis
Presentation of financial results and provide input to strategic plan.
Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Qualifications:
The Controller candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, and more than eight years of progressive
responsibility. Be proficient with ERP systems and have a working knowledge of reporting systems.
Public Auditing experience highly valuable and candidates with a Master in Business Administration, a Certified Public Accountant and/or a
Certified Management Accountant preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
