Summary: Responsible for all manufacturing and production assembly, capacity planning and WIP inventory control. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding budget expectations, meeting or exceeding departmental metrics, development of direct and indirect reports, improving operating efficiencies and actively involved with interviewing, hiring and retention of associates.
Summary of essential job functions
o Supervise, develop, and mentor supervisors, leads and associates
o Coordinates daily/weekly with Operations, Product Development, QA and Purchasing
o Develops, maintains and revises assembly standards.
o Determine staffing, planning and allocation to meet daily production requirements and manage schedules and capacity to match demand
o Maintain budgeted staffing for department(s) in relation to volumes
o Identifies scheduling constraints and works with management to resolve issues
o Identifies material shortages and works with Operations and Purchasing to resolve
o Lead and participate in production improvement projects
o Perform additional duties as assigned
o Exercises care within work environment to prevent injuries. Support and follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements: Minimum requirements
o Four-year College degree, in a business related field, manufacturing or operations, or equivalent work experience.
o Two years management experience in manufacturing and/or production assembly operation.
o Knowledge or training in: lean operations, six-sigma, or Kanban systems preferred
Knowledge/Skills required
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o Highly organized, detail-oriented, and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
o Strong decision making and problem solving skills
o Two years Oracle experience preferred
o Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
Working Environment

o Must be able to work in an environment with temperature fluctuations.
o Must be able to work on the production floor for extended periods of time.
o Moderate expose to dust and other allergens.
o Moderate noise level.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
